Since arriving in New Zealand back in 2019, I've been over the moon to be based in Auckland. It's a city unlike any other, with incredibly kind and hospitable people, beautiful nature reserves and a uniquely Kiwi shopping and social scene.
When I arrived I never thought I'd be weaving my own jewellery designs into the fabric of Auckland's shopping scene, but here we are! I'm beyond thrilled to announce we are now stocking our polymer clay earrings at Masala Bazaar!
Making it's home in Parnell, Masala Bazaar is unapologetically carving out room in New Zealands gift and retail space for person of colour owned businesses to thrive. It's a collective effort, housing a variety of locally owned brands and businesses, each of which bring something completely unique to the table.
Arias Design Co handmade jewellery is now proudly displayed at the Bazaar, alongside other brands within the New Zealand industry that have are focused on ethics, sustainabililty and quality. And small business stuff aside, I'm personally so happy to be a part of such an uplifting and supportive community.

If you've ever been to the Bazaar before, you'll know that it's a bit of an experience! It's a gifting wonderland - as soon as you walk in you're greeted by aromas of handmade candles, perfumes and scents, while soft music plays in the background so you can feel relaxed as you take in the colours and textures on offer. Better still, the store is staffed by the owners of the brands that stock there, so you know you'll have a shopping experience with someone that is passionate about the products you're buying.
